What You Bring
We are seeking an entry‑level Acoustician to work in Oakland, Los Angeles, Orange, or San Diego, California, with an immediate start date. The role supports noise analysis for major transportation, construction, energy and development projects across the United States, performing predictive modeling, field measurements, regulatory research and client deliverables. The position follows a standard 40‑hour week but may require occasional night or weekend work and involves regular nationwide travel and outdoor field work. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Acoustical Science or Environmental Policy, be a US citizen, and possess a valid driver’s license and clearance for a motor‑vehicle records review. Preferred qualifications include experience in acoustics or noise control, familiarity with CAD, Excel, GIS/Revit/BIM360, and proficiency with noise‑measurement equipment and public speaking. Relocation assistance is not offered; the role follows a hybrid schedule with scheduled office presence in the assigned California location. • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, US citizenship, valid driver’s license, and motor‑vehicle records clearance. • Preferred: experience in acoustics/noise control, CAD, Excel, GIS/Revit/BIM360, and noise‑measurement equipment. • Demonstrated teamwork, strong verbal communication, and public speaking abilities.
