About the Role
Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for managing analysis work in the development of the monthly forecast and leading the annual segment planning process. Planning includes forecasting the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow for short‑term (13‑week) and long‑term (annual to 3‑5‑year) horizons, and may involve discounted cash‑flow valuation of potential acquisition candidates. • Lead standardization of reporting across the segment (3 market sectors, 20+ companies). • Project manage timely delivery of quarterly business and segment financial information. • Support the CFO with corporate financial governance information requests. • Coordinate and develop annual revenue and expense budgets, building bottom‑up budgets and vetting them with operations. • Create presentations for management and the Board on budget, monthly and quarterly actual‑to‑forecast analysis. • Coordinate short‑term cash forecasting processes (including 13‑week forecasts). • Analyze variances to budget/forecast for revenue, margin, and operating expenses. • Perform ad hoc analysis of operational results as needed. • Develop PowerBI reporting in partnership with the data analytics team. • Provide subject‑matter expertise during the company‑wide ERP software transition. • Help the organization achieve financial targets through accurate, fact‑based guidance. • Maintain open dialogue with operations, project controls, and business development to ensure comprehensive communication and analysis. • Provide financial expertise for business building and acquisition analysis. • Build financial models for "what‑if" scenarios and assess overall company impact. • Lead upgrade of existing financial analysis and reporting tools. • Communicate the importance of financial work to business success. • Gain stakeholder buy‑in to support financial priorities. • Hold budget owners accountable to targets and deliverable deadlines. • Participate in preparing the monthly financial package for senior management.

What You Bring
The role is remote, with the option to be based in Dallas, Miami or Fargo, and may require occasional travel to an office or for meetings. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. • Minimum seven years of financial planning and analysis experience. • EPC industry experience preferred. • Experience with data analytics tools (PowerBI, Python) preferred. • Experience with enterprise planning systems (e.g., Hyperion Planning). • Financial project management experience preferred. • Proficiency with Hyperion, Smart View, and report development. • Strong ERP and advanced Excel skills; complex modeling expertise. • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities. • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet simultaneous deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. • Ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels and present information clearly. • Knowledge of GAAP, accrual accounting, and basic accounting concepts. • Highly motivated, results‑oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.
