About the Role
Key duties include traveling to client associations for board meetings, inspections, and events; preparing agendas, board packages, and annual disclosure and financial statements; updating homeowner and association information in C3; and coordinating building and common‑area inspections with appropriate follow‑up. The manager supervises association operations according to management agreements and policies, acts as the primary liaison with the Board of Directors and homeowners, manages community‑management tools such as calendars, action lists, and budgets, reviews monthly financial reports, and recommends major capital expenditures. Additional responsibilities cover Architectural Review Board application processing, monitoring delinquency and collections, maintaining unit and contract files, overseeing vendor procurement and performance, supervising staff and the accounts payable process, and handling other duties as assigned. • Attend board meetings, conduct inspections, and represent Associa at community events. • Prepare agendas, board meeting packages, and annual disclosure and financial statements. • Update homeowner and association data in C3 and shared files. • Coordinate building and common‑area inspections and follow‑up actions. • Supervise association operations per management agreements and policies. • Serve as primary liaison between the Board of Directors, homeowners, and Associa staff. • Manage community tools such as calendars, action lists, RFP matrices, and budgets. • Review monthly financial reports and provide summaries to the Board. • Recommend and oversee major capital expenditures for community maintenance. • Process Architectural Review Board applications and perform on‑site inspections. • Monitor delinquency rates and oversee collections for the portfolio. • Manage vendor procurement, performance evaluation, and contract compliance. • Oversee staff assignments and the accounts payable process according to Associa procedures. • Apply conflict‑resolution techniques and deliver professional customer service.

What You Bring
Required skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office, knowledge of homeowners associations and their governance, strong written and verbal communication, conflict‑resolution and professional customer service, confidentiality, self‑motivation, time‑management, and ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and prior community association management experience is required. Benefits
The Community Manager I provides overall supervision of a portfolio of community associations, interacting with homeowners, vendors, board members, committee members, and Associa staff. This full‑time role offers a salary range of $55,000‑65,000.
