About the Role

The role supports area operations and office personnel in the implementation and compliance of SHS programs, establishes regular branch visit schedules, conducts internal audits, assists with occupational health matters, and participates in incident investigations, requiring extensive travel throughout the region. • Deliver Smith System defensive driving training and weekly SHS training at branch sites. • Perform field‑level behavior‑based observations and coaching (BBOs). • Conduct annual internal SHS audits and ensure corrective actions are completed. • Investigate incidents and accidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and prepare summary reports. • Support the Badger Occupational Health and Leave team with illness, injury, first aid, workers’ compensation, and return‑to‑work cases.

What You Bring

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline (or equivalent experience), a clean driver’s license, and a strong understanding of regulatory health‑safety requirements. Professional certification such as CRSP or CSP and relevant industry experience are preferred. • Travel 60‑70% of the time following a regular visit schedule across the assigned geographic area. • Hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (minimum two years of college, four preferred). • Maintain a clean driver’s license; CRSP or CSP certification is an advantage. • Bring at least five years of experience in industries such as vacuum/pump trucks, fleet operations, underground construction/utilities, oil & gas, or waste management.
