About the Role
As a Safety Advisor you will support the Safety Manager and site leadership to achieve an incident‑ and injury‑free workplace. You will coordinate WHS activities, lead inductions and toolbox talks, guide supervisors and subcontractors on safe work practices, investigate incidents, review SWMS and permits, and ensure compliance with legal, client and ACCIONA requirements. • Promote a strong safety culture with workers, clients and authorities. • Coordinate site WHS inspections, audits and observations. • Lead project‑specific inductions and toolbox talks. • Investigate incidents, hazards and near‑misses and recommend actions. • Support managers and supervisors to meet WHS and environmental duties. • Review SWMS, permits and high‑risk work for compliance and risk control. • Manage safety reporting, return‑to‑work plans and WorkCover requirements as directed.

What You Bring
• Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or equivalent. • WHS experience on large‑scale civil infrastructure projects. • Prior tunnel‑environment experience (advantageous). • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, systems and audits. • Proven incident investigation and clear report‑writing skills. • Confident communicator across all site levels.
