About the Role

The Production Leader completes AAON’s Production Leader Program and oversees a crew, assigning tasks, mentoring, and ensuring productivity, quality, and safety. They work with management to meet production targets, allocate labor, equipment, and materials, and monitor quality control. They investigate issues, conduct safety training, and drive process improvements while maintaining inventory and reporting performance. • Complete AAON’s Production Leader Program • Lead a crew, assign tasks, and provide guidance • Mentor team members to maximize productivity and quality • Collaborate with management to achieve production targets • Allocate labor, equipment, and materials per production plan • Enforce quality control standards and resolve issues promptly • Conduct safety training, audits, and recommend improvements • Identify and implement process optimizations for efficiency • Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and finished goods • Generate regular performance reports on productivity, quality, and efficiency • Provide updates to management on production status and challenges • Work safely in environments with extreme temperatures, noise, dust, chemicals, and forklift traffic

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent education, with a preference for three years of production or manufacturing experience. The role requires strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations, excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and production management software. Ability to obtain and maintain a 608 universal refrigerant certification is also required. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods while wearing proper personal protective equipment. Employees work in manufacturing facilities exposed to extreme temperatures, noise, dust, chemicals, sharp metal objects, and heavy forklift traffic. The job is safety‑sensitive and subject to drug and alcohol testing. • Hold a high school diploma/GED; 3 years of production/manufacturing experience preferred • Obtain and maintain 608 universal refrigerant certification • Demonstrate strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations • Possess excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office and production management software • Ability to lift/move objects up to 50 lb and perform repetitive tasks • Subject to drug and alcohol testing as a safety‑sensitive position
