About the Role
The role involves painting, priming, and finishing a variety of parts and assemblies, as well as cleaning, washing, wire‑brushing, and scraping components before coating. Additional duties include assembling caps, plugs, and valves, inspecting painted items, correcting deficiencies, applying decals and tags, shrink‑wrapping packages, handling materials, and maintaining production records. The employee will use tools such as chisels, hammers, air grinders, and wire brushes, report any unusual conditions, uphold 5S standards, and participate in Kaizen events and safety initiatives. • Paint, prime, and finish coat parts or assemblies using ready‑mix or activator paints. • Clean, wash, wire‑brush, and scrape components before coating. • Assemble caps, plugs, valves, and other components onto packages. • Inspect painted items, correct deficiencies, and apply decals and tags. • Shrink‑wrap packages for transport or storage. • Perform material handling and maintain required production records. • Use tools such as chisels, hammers, air grinders, and wire brushes. • Identify and report defective material or unusual conditions. • Maintain a clean, safe work area following 5S standards and safety policies. • Participate in Kaizen events, 5S programs, and problem‑solving teams. • Work second shift, 2 pm‑10 pm, Monday‑Friday.
