SAP EHS Product Stewardship Consultant

About the Role

In this role the consultant will design and implement SAP EHS PS solutions, provide business process outsourcing (BPO) services for specification database maintenance, SDS distribution, template management, and system support, and act as a key player in a fast‑paced, diverse team that addresses product stewardship and compliance challenges. Key duties include evaluating EHS PS software options, gathering client requirements, leading full lifecycle SAP implementations, building a BPO solution centre of excellence, creating blueprints and design documents, configuring and testing system components, leading consultant teams, delivering training and knowledge transfer, and supporting pre‑sales activities such as RFP preparation. • Evaluate and advise clients on EHS PS software selection. • Gather client requirements and develop tailored proposals. • Lead full project lifecycle for SAP EHS PS implementations. • Build and manage a BPO solution centre of excellence for product stewardship. • Design and integrate SAP EHS PS functional solutions using project management and business analysis methodologies. • Document business requirements, create blueprints and system design documents. • Configure, integrate, test, and support SAP EHS PS systems. • Lead consultant teams in system design, data migration, custom reporting, and automation. • Provide training, knowledge transfer, and documentation for end‑users. • Support pre‑sales activities including RFP responses and high‑level project planning.

What You Bring

Digital Services ERM is looking for a SAP EHS Product Stewardship (PS) Functional Consultant based in India to join its global practice. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP EHS PS solution functionality, covering specification database design, safety data sheet (SDS) authoring, label generation, hazardous materials classification, and global product compliance tracking. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical field (IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS), possess strong chemistry and product stewardship knowledge, have completed at least three full SAP EHS PS lifecycle projects, and bring 2‑5 years of relevant EHS experience including hands‑on work with specification management, SDS, GLM, DG, and SVT modules as well as infrastructure tools like GenPC and Expert servers. Ability to travel full‑time to client sites is required. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS. • Demonstrate strong chemistry and product stewardship/compliance expertise. • Complete at least three full‑life‑cycle SAP EHS PS implementations. • Possess 2–5 years experience in EHS product stewardship BPO services (e.g., SDS authoring). • Hands‑on experience with SAP EHS PS modules (Specification Management, SDS, GLM, DG, SVT) and infrastructure tools (GenPC, Expert servers, WWI, OCC/ADM). • Willingness and ability to travel full‑time to client sites.
