About the Role
A Relief Driver‑CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck, provides courteous waste removal, ensures vehicle compliance with safety standards, adheres to regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports. The role includes performing pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, operating the truck along assigned routes, loading and compacting refuse, and disposing of material at designated facilities while interacting professionally with customers and dispatchers. Drivers must monitor waste for unacceptable items, clean spills, maintain vehicle readiness, complete productivity and VCR reports, meet productivity standards, follow safety policies, participate in the ReSOP program, and perform other assigned duties. • Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Safely operate the heavy truck along designated routes, follow route sheets, and service customers. • Operate manual/automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of refuse. • Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers per procedures. • Continuously monitor waste for unacceptable materials. • Clean accidental waste spills following safety standards. • Monitor vehicle condition, clean waste from packer blade and truck body on each trip. • Complete route/productivity sheets, VCRs, and other required reports. • Maintain required productivity standards to service customers efficiently. • Follow all safety policies and procedures. • Actively participate in the Company’s ReSOP program. • Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and honesty. • Manage time efficiently to complete responsibilities safely. • Uphold Company policies, promote safety standards, and avoid inappropriate risks.

What You Bring
• Demonstrate strong follow‑through and adhere to work schedules. • Preferably have two years of commercial truck driving experience. • Hold a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with air‑brake endorsement.
