About the Role
Hubbell is seeking an Electrical Engineer to oversee the assessment, proposal, design, and documentation of custom communication systems that meet customer specifications. The role involves handling applications of moderate complexity independently and higher‑complexity projects in collaboration with a Senior Engineer. Key responsibilities include evaluating customer specifications, determining system integration feasibility, providing preliminary cost estimates, and attending project meetings. The engineer will generate production bills of material, create fabrication drawings and wiring diagrams, develop test procedures, and produce installation, operation, and maintenance documentation, while also supporting procurement and production activities. • Evaluate customer specifications and assess feasibility of custom system integration. • Provide preliminary material and labor cost estimates. • Generate production bills of material and create fabrication drawings and wiring diagrams. • Develop step‑by‑step test procedures and related documentation. • Produce installation, operation, and maintenance manuals per vendor requirements. • Support procurement to address lead‑time and obsolescence issues. • Implement in‑process design changes and assist during production. • Prepare and conduct Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures and systems. • Respond to project‑related customer inquiries.

What You Bring
Qualifications include strong knowledge of GAI‑Tronics products, excellent written and oral communication, and experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Windows, MS Office, AutoCAD, and SAP is required, along with 3‑5 years of relevant experience, a BSEE or BSEET degree, and the ability to work directly with customers. Physical requirements involve standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and various vision capabilities. • Possess GAI‑Tronics product knowledge and strong communication skills. • Proficient in Windows, MS Office, AutoCAD, and SAP with 3‑5 years of industrial experience. • Hold a BSEE or BSEET degree and meet physical job requirements.
