About the Role

• Conduct site visits within the assigned market and record detailed field notes for construction drawings. • Analyze work sites and design requests to define project scope. • Deliver projects on schedule while ensuring quality standards. • Communicate concerns and updates with the OSP Designer. • Represent Byers and the client professionally with internal and external customers. • Follow all company safety practices and policies.

What You Bring

The work schedule aligns with customer hours and may require travel to outdoor sites in various weather conditions. Candidates must be local to Lexington, KY, possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be able to work remotely as needed, dressing appropriately and following safety standards. • High school diploma required; technical school or community college coursework preferred. • Authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record. • Strong communication skills and above‑average penmanship for hand‑drawn notes. • Ability to adapt to industry trends and pursue continued education in engineering design. • Preferred understanding of telecom, fiber, and outside plant concepts. • Relevant experience with utilities, cabling, or construction is considered.
