About the Role
• Read and understand contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health‑and‑safety measures, including updates. • Ensure contractors comply with contract standards and specifications through observation, measurement, testing, and QA tracking. • Maintain daily records of contractor manpower and equipment resources. • Conduct site supervision and inspections as required or directed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer. • Document contractor personnel, equipment, observed activities, locations, reasons, and methods in assigned areas. • Report material deliveries, implement site instructions from the leader, and apply all quality controls and procedures. • Prepare site measurements and surveying checks needed by the leader. • Monitor conformity to quality, performance, and code requirements by performing inspections. • Monitor health and safety of construction work, report violations, and handle documentation for area and equipment turnovers.
