About the Role

• Design site layouts, grading, drainage, paving, utilities, and related civil engineering activities. • Perform quantity calculations and prepare specifications and contract documents. • Conduct permitting with jurisdictional authorities. • Manage complex assignments, applying judgment to engineering techniques and procedures. • Serve as Project Manager or Project Engineer as needed. • Oversee work of professionals and technicians. • Prepare and review civil engineering scopes, budgets, and estimates for proposals. • Establish client relationships and participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings. • Track project financials and adjust team effort to meet schedule parameters.

What You Bring

The position requires experience in site development and civil design (grading, utilities, storm drainage, stormwater management, erosion control), strong self‑motivation, collaboration, and leadership to produce high‑quality, technically sound solutions. • Experience with an architectural/engineering or consulting firm. • Ability to thrive in a team environment and handle multiple assignments. • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D and related applications (Navisworks, InfraWorks, MicroStation, OpenRoads). • Ability to mentor and teach skills to others. • Strong understanding of discipline relations and site civil design. • Proficiency with storm‑modeling software (Hydraflow, HydroCAD, StormCAD, SSA, HEC‑RAS, etc.). • Bachelor’s degree in engineering. • Professional engineering license (PE or P.Eng) for the job location. • Experience in general civil engineering. • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong verbal/written communication.
