Mortenson is seeking a Senior Environmental Specialist to support its environmental management initiatives. The position is headquartered in Minneapolis, MN and requires travel to various project sites. Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills are essential in this dynamic environment. • Bachelor’s degree in environmental management, science, biology, geology, or related field. • Minimum eight years of relevant experience, including storm‑water pollution prevention (SWPPP). • Experience with endangered species, erosion control, sediment control, aquatic resources, and SPCC. • Strong understanding of federal, state, provincial, and local environmental laws and policies. • Excellent organization, self‑direction, and teamwork abilities. • Effective communication with consultants and governmental agencies. • Proficiency with PCs, tablets, Excel, Word, and design review. • Valid driver’s license; based in Minneapolis (remote candidates considered).
