About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. The driver ensures the vehicle complies with company safety standards, adheres to all state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs) to address any defects promptly. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, operating manual or automatic controls to lift, load, and compact waste, and transporting material to the designated disposal site. Drivers follow route sheets, interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, tag unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for violations, and clean any accidental spills while maintaining vehicle cleanliness to minimize downtime. They also complete required productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports, meet departmental productivity standards, follow all safety policies, and actively participate in the Company’s ReSOP program. • Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Safely operate the collection truck along assigned routes, following route sheets and maps. • Load, compact, and transport waste, disposing of material at designated facilities. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor waste for violations. • Clean accidental waste spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness to minimize downtime. • Complete daily route, productivity, and vehicle condition reports. • Meet departmental productivity standards while adhering to all safety policies. • Actively participate in the Company’s ReSOP safety program.

What You Bring
The role requires a Class B (or higher) commercial driver’s license with an air‑brake endorsement. Pay ranges from $20.35 to $28.00 per hour, varying by locality, and the position may include bonus eligibility. • Hold a Class B (or higher) CDL with air‑brake endorsement and follow all regulatory requirements.
