About the Role
As a Project Manager on the Project and Development Services team, you will apply advanced project‑management skills to a variety of construction projects, ranging in size, type and complexity. The role focuses on physical construction processes, safety and logistics planning, and site supervision, while contributing to JLL’s business objectives. You will work as part of the JLL Account Team, preparing accurate project documentation, developing risk‑management plans, and handling multiple projects simultaneously. Collaboration with vendors, subcontractors and internal service lines is essential to ensure compliance, negotiate terms and achieve timely project closeouts. • Prepare and oversee accurate project documentation for all construction phases. • Develop risk management plans and lead work authorization processes. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various stages. • Collaborate within the JLL Account Team and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors. • Negotiate subcontractor terms to align with client value expectations. • Ensure formal project closeout within 120 days of completion. • Maintain site presence and supervise construction activities as needed. • Leverage connections with other JLL Service Lines to create additional client opportunities.

What You Bring
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or a related field and at least three years of experience in advanced project management or engineering. Required knowledge includes laboratories, manufacturing areas, and MEP building utility and automation systems, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project software. Preferred qualifications include advanced expertise with JLL’s PDS Platform, demonstrated negotiation ability, a track record of successful project closeouts, and experience with continuous‑improvement and risk‑management methodologies in critical environments. • Apply knowledge of laboratories, manufacturing areas, and MEP utility/automation systems. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred). • Possess at least 3 years of advanced project management or engineering experience. • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. • Be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project software. • Show willingness to train on JLL’s and client’s project management software. • Preferred: Advanced knowledge of JLL’s PDS Platform (Atlas, One View, Tools, Templates).

Benefits
The role is based on‑site in Thousand Oaks, CA, with an estimated compensation range of $110,000–$125,000 per year.
