About the Role

The Market Logistics Coordinator will support market logistics operations and local branches by handling administrative, communication, and scheduling duties. This role acts as the primary link between branches and the Market Logistics Operations Center, ensuring contracts, work orders, and driver logistics are managed efficiently. The position also assists with parts ordering, inventory management, and coordination of third‑party haulers. • Open and close contracts timely to support dispatch operations. • Review driver logs and schedules per dispatcher direction. • Serve as primary communication link between branches and Market Logistics Operations Center. • Monitor vehicle inspection reports (DVIR) and coordinate repairs. • Verify order contact and delivery instructions. • Assist with driver scheduling, timekeeping, and third‑party hauler coordination. • Keep branches informed of upcoming runs for proper equipment staging. • Track driver stop times and expedite as needed. • Identify fleet availability gaps for future orders. • Prioritize pickups with dispatcher based on need and timing. • Order and receive parts, maintain adequate inventory, and perform semi‑annual usage reviews.
