About the Role
The role requires operating a forklift or other powered equipment to move and store a variety of materials, parts, and products. Responsibilities include transporting items from incoming or finished‑goods staging areas to storage or shipping locations, and may involve using an overhead crane or hoist to assist with material movement. The handler will complete related shipping and receiving documentation, expedite material to the proper department, act as backup for other material handlers, and perform visual inspections for damaged material. Maintaining a neat and orderly workspace using 5S guidelines and notifying internal customers of receipts are also essential duties. • Operate forklift, overhead crane, or other powered equipment to relocate materials across staging, storage, and shipping zones. • Transport incoming and finished‑goods items to designated storage or shipping areas and record all movements in the system. • Complete shipping and receiving paperwork and expedite materials to the appropriate department. • Serve as backup for other material handlers and conduct visual inspections for damaged items. • Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S principles and ensure health‑safety equipment is functional. • Notify internal customers when materials are received or earmarked for them.

What You Bring
Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, two years of manufacturing experience, and the ability to obtain forklift certification; experience with computer systems for material tracking is preferred. Candidates must be able to lift 40 lb, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship and reside within a 50‑mile radius of the work location (active‑duty military are exempt). • Must possess a high school diploma/GED and at least two years of manufacturing experience; forklift certification preferred. • Ability to use computer systems for material tracking and possess effective oral and written communication skills. • Physical requirements: lift up to 40 lb, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting. • Eligible candidates must reside within 50 mi of the facility (active‑duty military exempt) and be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
