About the Role
As a Heavy Equipment Operator III, you will operate bulldozers, scrapers, and front‑end loaders at one of WM’s recycling facilities, ensuring compliance with strict safety procedures and contributing to the efficient handling of raw materials and finished components. • Operate bulldozers, scrapers, and front‑end loaders following safety policies. • Perform routine equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and record‑keeping. • Move raw materials and finished components using material‑moving equipment.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least five years of heavy‑equipment operating experience, be over 18, legally authorized to work in the United States, meet the physical requirements of the role, and pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical; preferred experience includes dozers, excavators, and ADT equipment. Successful team members thrive independently, take accountability for safety guidelines, communicate effectively, and solve problems on their own while working in an environment that demands motor coordination, occasional lifting of objects under 30 lb, and exposure to outdoor conditions such as dirt, noise, and weather extremes. • Minimum 5 years heavy‑equipment operation experience; over 18 and US‑eligible. • Preferred experience with dozer, excavator, and ADT equipment. • Independent work style, strong accountability to safety, good communication, problem‑solving. • Physical demands include motor coordination, occasional lifting <30 lb, and exposure to outdoor conditions.
