About the Role
The role supports project governance and administration, tracking progress and producing regular status updates for the project team and key stakeholders. Responsibilities include preparing meeting minutes, agendas and monthly reports, assisting design management, procurement and stakeholder consultation, and ensuring safety compliance through the T&T checklist. The incumbent also assists the Project Manager and Project Director with cost reporting, performance monitoring, risk register updates and quality assurance, and contributes to tender research and bid preparation. • Maintain project governance and administration documentation. • Track project progress and deliver regular status reports to stakeholders. • Produce meeting minutes, agendas, and monthly reports. • Support design management, procurement activities, and stakeholder consultation. • Ensure project safety compliance using the T&T checklist. • Assist the Project Manager and Project Director with cost reporting, performance monitoring, risk register updates, and quality assurance. • Conduct tender research and compile potential bid opportunities. • Support bid preparation and coordinate with the risk team.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a recognised degree or equivalent qualification in construction management, project management, engineering, architecture, cost management or a related field, and have 1–4 years of project management experience, preferably on the client side or in consulting. Experience in the health sector and an existing network in the Canberra market are advantageous. Strong written and spoken English, excellent reporting skills, the ability to thrive in a high‑pressure environment, and a growth‑mindset team orientation are essential. • Hold a degree or equivalent in construction, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline. • Possess 1–4 years of project management experience, preferably client‑side or consulting. • Health‑sector experience and established Canberra market relationships are a plus. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication and excellent reporting skills. • Thrive in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments. • Exhibit a growth mindset and ability to work effectively in a small team.
