About the Role

The role involves safely facilitating the movement of finished and unfinished material through the manufacturing and production process. You will ensure materials flow efficiently to support production operations. • Review work orders or verbal instructions to move pallets and containers from machines. • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. • Move material from storage or work sites to designated areas, ensuring operators have needed raw materials. • Stack and assemble materials into bundles and band the bundles. • Remove empty pallets from equipment. • Perform shipper/receiver duties as assigned.

What You Bring

The work environment is generally comfortable but includes exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes, which may cause discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness. The job also requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering heavy (50+ lb) or awkward materials, and may involve overnight travel less than 5 % of the time. A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred, and specialized skills training or certification may be required. Typically, candidates have 2–5 years of relevant experience. • Must be a trained and qualified forklift operator.
