About the Role
The Civil Digital Risk & Compliance Partner reports to the Head of Cyber Security Risk and Compliance (Civil Aerospace) and serves as the link between the Civil business and the Digital & IT function. The role supports articulation of business impact from IT risks, ensuring those risks are incorporated into decision‑making, and provides leadership to enhance organisational resilience. It applies structured analytical thinking and quantitative techniques to model, quantify and communicate risk, bridging Engineering, Digital and Commercial domains across complex project portfolios, joint ventures and supplier ecosystems. Key responsibilities include coordinating risk management across the Civil IT function, monitoring IT disruption within appetite, and providing direction to ensure IT risk is suitably addressed within Civil Aerospace. The partner manages risk and compliance reporting and escalation across the cyber security, IT risk and compliance landscape, promotes the ‘Minimum Viable Company’ programme, and enables the Joint Venture & Supplier Management assessment programme in partnership with Digital & IT colleagues. What You Bring
The role requires broad knowledge of Rolls‑Royce risk management principles, tools and techniques, and a solid understanding of Civil business strategies and plans. Candidates must understand external and internal standards, maintain a pragmatic approach to compliance, and be able to translate complex risk and compliance data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical audiences. Experience with designing or using digital solutions such as Power Apps or the Power Platform to manage and present complex data sets is essential. • Possess broad knowledge of Rolls‑Royce risk management principles, tools and techniques. • Understand Civil business strategies and plans. • Experience designing or using digital tools such as Power Apps or Power Platform to manage and present complex data sets.
