About the Role
The role involves reporting to work as scheduled, repairing and overhauling compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and related mechanical and electrical control devices, and testing malfunctioning systems. Technicians must maintain accurate work records, perform general repairs on HVAC and refrigeration equipment such as AC units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electric motors, and carry out preventative maintenance and diagnostics. They also assist with minor construction, remodeling, and startup of new installations. • Report to work on schedule. • Repair and overhaul compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices. • Test malfunctioning systems using electrical/mechanical skills. • Maintain accurate work history records. • Perform general repairs on HVAC and refrigeration equipment (AC units, condensers, ice machines, gas furnaces, electric motors). • Conduct preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment issues. • Assist with minor construction, remodeling, and startup of new installations.

What You Bring
Candidates need at least six years of commercial refrigeration experience and must achieve an 80% or higher on the Tek Skills Level 3 test. Experience with supermarket or convenience‑store refrigeration, single and rack systems, display cases, and walk‑in units is a strong plus. Applicants must have a good driving record, be able to work independently, be on‑call for emergencies, lift up to 60 lb unassisted, and stand or sit for several hours. • Have 6+ years of commercial refrigeration experience. • Pass Tek Skills Level 3 test with 80% or higher. • Experience with supermarket/convenience‑store refrigeration, single and rack systems, display cases, and walk‑in units preferred. • Hold a good driving record and work independently. • Available for emergency on‑call duties. • Able to lift 60 lb unassisted and stand/sit for extended periods.
