About the Role

Field Service Representatives play a critical role by collaborating with customers, internal teams, and third‑party partners to deliver assembly, startup, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on both Schneider and third‑party equipment in diverse environments. The organization equips its FSRs with product training, digital tools, service vehicles, uniforms, mobile devices, and laptops for daily use. • Perform pre‑site startup, repairs, preventive maintenance, and field modifications on equipment. • Diagnose issues and solve problems with customers, electricians, sales partners, and technical support. • Complete field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance logs, and startup data sheets. • Collaborate with managers and regional service directors to resolve escalated issues. • Participate in continuous learning and product training both on‑site and in classroom settings. • Travel regionally (and occasionally nationwide) to support customer sites, including overnight trips. • Assist senior technicians and support project managers on large system start‑ups. • Work with other Field Service Representatives and project teams on complex projects. • Act on behalf of the District Service Manager to address operational issues.

Physical requirements involve lifting up to 40 lb, working in extreme weather conditions, standing for extended periods, and accessing confined spaces. • Hold an associate’s degree, trade/vocational certification, military training, or equivalent electrical‑related experience. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics; solid understanding of AC and DC power principles. • Minimum 2 years field service repair and customer service experience with UPS, power distribution, ATS, PDU, or related equipment. • Additional 2 years in field services or comparable industry experience. • Demonstrated safety practices, including lock‑out/tag‑out and NFPA‑70E or OSHA knowledge (preferred). • Proficient in using test and diagnostic equipment; skilled in interpreting schematics and manuals. • Strong written communication for service reports and customer correspondence. • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lb, work in extreme weather, stand for long periods, and csak enter confined spaces.

The position is U.S.-based with a compensation range of $66,000 to $99,000 per year, which includes base salary and a short‑term incentive. Pay within the range is set based on performance, knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
