About the Role

The Leasing Consultant role oversees all aspects of leasing, marketing and resident relations for a property, requiring on‑site presence, prospect engagement, lease administration and support of retention initiatives. • Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour, and sign leases. • Generate leads, conduct tours, maintain model units, and follow up to close sales. • Complete all leasing paperwork before move‑in and assist with lease audits and unit turnovers. • Maintain accurate prospect traffic data and respond to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, improve closing ratios, and exceed leasing goals. • Perform administrative tasks and address resident complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction. • Develop and implement resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Assist with the annual marketing plan, conduct market surveys, and produce weekly market reports. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and project a favorable community image. • Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor. • Meet physical demands: lift/move objects up to 25 lb, ascend ladders, work overtime, weekends, and in adverse weather conditions.
