About the Role
The Foreman is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the assigned organization, ensuring safe, continuous, and economical processes across operations, maintenance, fuels, or instrumentation & controls. The role must uphold company business and ethical standards while complying with all applicable government and industry regulations. • Develop and execute work schedules, ensuring tasks are completed timely and efficiently. • Coach new and existing employees on processes, procedures, and best practices. • Communicate effectively with assigned staff, fellow foremen, and management to relay critical information. • Coordinate shift handovers to maintain safe and reliable operations across teams. • Mentor employees to expand their job skill sets and performance capabilities. • Direct work to meet safety and productivity goals while adhering to established work practices. • Promote customer awareness and concern in daily operational activities. • Recommend performance improvements to both employees and organizational management. • Participate in formal performance evaluations of assigned team members. • Perform additional duties such as duty coverage, call‑outs, and support during outage activities.

What You Bring
Candidates must have an associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related field (or a high‑school diploma with 18 months of trade/technical training), and at least eight years of experience in power‑plant operations, maintenance, fuels, or I&C (or a six‑month rotation in a Shift Foreman role). The position also requires meeting access and medical requirements as applicable. • Troubleshoot equipment and personnel issues using sound judgment and decision‑making skills.
