About the Role

Each day you will inspect, diagnose, and repair a range of systems on trucks and equipment that serve over 20 million customers nationwide. Using modern tools and procedures, you will maintain diesel and, at some locations, CNG trucks, ensuring they leave the shop ready to support the community. Key duties include troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems; estimating time and material costs; adhering to Standard Labor Repair Times; responding to emergency breakdowns; performing safety checks; completing paperwork; assisting senior mechanics; handling driver vehicle inspection report repairs; and maintaining a clean, OSHA‑compliant work area. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on diesel and CNG trucks. • Estimate time and material costs, adhere to Standard Labor Repair Times, and complete required paperwork. • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls and conduct vehicle safety checks. • Assist senior mechanics and handle driver vehicle inspection report repairs. • Maintain a clean, safe work area compliant with OSHA and corporate standards.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, be over 18, legally eligible to work in the United States, and pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical. Physical ability to perform the job’s demands, with or without reasonable accommodations, is required.
