About the Role

In this senior position, you will manage a regional team, develop business plans, pursue new projects, and oversee organizational structures and processes. You will be responsible for generating new revenue, expanding existing streams, and maintaining high client satisfaction while collaborating with practice area directors on staffing and project pursuits. • Collaborate with Practice Area Directors on staffing and project pursuits. • Cross‑sell services and stay informed on the local AEC marketplace. • Establish yearly budgets, business plans, and manage collections/accounts receivable. • Network with clients and lead the team to generate and increase revenue streams. • Participate in SENSE, EDT, and Intern programs. • Maintain high employee morale across the region. • Manage P&L, tracking NEF, UC, UC%, multiplier, billing, and collections. • Coordinate office events and foster a collaborative culture. • Implement and enforce company‑wide standards and playbooks. • Execute Vision 2025 and 2035 strategic initiatives. • Oversee talent growth: recruitment, performance reviews, and training needs. • Ensure technical execution and QA/QC of projects. • Write proposals, negotiate contracts, and mitigate risk. • Manage GEO profit and loss of $2–4.25 M NEF.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent experience), has over 15 years of market design experience, and at least five years of management and P&L responsibility. Required skills include deep MEP knowledge, strong networking, effective communication, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment, with PE registration strongly preferred. • Leverage specialized knowledge of the local or city AEC building market. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (experience may substitute). • 15+ years of relevant market design experience. • Minimum 5 years of management experience. • 5+ years developing business for engineering or construction. • Thorough knowledge of MEP systems. • PE registration highly desired. • Willingness to travel regionally on the East Coast; occasional international travel. • Strong relationship‑building and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced team environment. • Excellent organizational skills; manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • 5 years of engineering management and P&L experience.
