About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports the property’s maintenance program under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, handling corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks, as well as the make‑ready process for units. • Perform daily on‑site maintenance, responding to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Conduct make‑ready tasks, schedule and execute turn‑event repairs, and maintain accurate service records. • Clean and maintain exterior areas, grounds, breezeways, swimming pools, and keep chemical logs up to date. • Inspect properties daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions, supporting the preventative maintenance program. • Keep the maintenance shop organized, stocked, and compliant with safety and OSHA standards. • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with hazard communications, inventory monitoring, and on‑call emergency response. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround, and enforce community policies. • Participate in unit inspections, office upkeep, and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or Community Manager.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. Physical requirements include frequent climbing, lifting objects over 100 lb, working in confined spaces and outdoor conditions, and availability for on‑call emergencies, with reliable transportation required. • Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent; basic computer proficiency; understanding of Fair Housing and OSHA. • Physical ability to climb ladders, lift 100 lb, work in various weather conditions, and be available for overtime, weekends, and night on‑call duties. • Reliable transportation required for emergency responses.
