Job Highlights
About the Role
• Perform pre‑start, daily, and post‑start equipment inspections; report deficiencies and conduct minor repairs. • Operate heavy equipment (backhoes, excavators, bulldozers, loaders) safely, following shutdown and securing procedures. • Communicate equipment status to supervisors and fleet department; schedule and ensure regular maintenance per manuals. • Maintain situational awareness and keep unauthorized personnel clear of equipment reach. • Load and unload materials, place/remove TBW concrete barriers, and handle truck loading up to 20 trucks per shift. • Change attachments (forks, booms, hydraulic hammers) and understand equipment capacity limits. • Conduct utility location checks, request ground men, and follow cut‑and‑fill excavation guidelines. • Lift/carry 50‑80 lb regularly and up to 150 lb with assistance; climb on/off equipment safely. • Adhere to Safety Sensitive Position requirements, including key removal during washing or maintenance.

What You Bring
The position may require pre‑employment screening, including background checks and drug testing.
