About the Role
The Maintenance Technician B works under lead technicians or supervisors to service a single fleet of advanced vehicles, handling both on‑site and on‑road tasks. The role offers a stable shift, competitive wages, and clear career progression while contributing to community and environmental goals. • Perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non‑diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, control, hydraulic, electrical, air brake, engine, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems. • Conduct basic tire work such as replacement, rotation, and tread depth checks. • Provide road service to safely return equipment to operation. • Use electronic diagnostic tools to identify malfunctions. • Perform line‑maintenance welding and fabrication tasks. • Complete required company training programs.

What You Bring
• Minimum 1 year experience diagnosing and repairing gasoline and diesel equipment, or recent graduate from an accredited automotive program. • Ability to inspect heavy‑truck systems (suspension, steering, engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, emissions) with limited supervision. • Valid driver’s license; Commercial Driver’s License and ASE certifications are a plus. • Basic understanding of work‑order labor time standards.
