About the Role

The Senior Project Manager role is responsible for delivering assigned projects in NSW/ACT safely, on time, cost‑effectively and innovatively within Downer’s Power Projects Business Unit. • Manage, coordinate and deliver complex projects through design, estimate development and delivery. • Foster innovation, mentor team members and uphold the Downer Standard and Zero Harm. • Support budget management, optimise costs and ensure accurate reporting and forecasting. • Assist procurement by implementing management plans and engaging subcontractors and suppliers. • Build strong relationships with design teams, clients and internal stakeholders for optimal project delivery.

What You Bring

• Diploma in Project Management; Electrical Engineering degree preferred. • CPSM certification with AIPM. • Proven ability to work in a dynamic, service‑oriented contracting environment. • Understanding of relevant AS/NZ ISO electrical standards. • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. • Analytical, planning, financial planning and budgeting capabilities. • Demonstrated leadership of teams and projects within a team environment. • Valid driver’s licence.
