Job Highlights
About the Role
The role focuses on electrical design for machinery, including creating schematics, layouts, and documentation, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and maintaining high quality. • Create electrical schematics, layout designs, and cable diagrams using SEE Electric. • Convert legacy machine schematics for new upgrades. • Generate part lists and cable lists from SEE Electric. • Perform power calculations for main disconnect switches, transformers, circuit breakers, and thermal calculations for cabinets. • Select breakers, sensors, drives, motors, and safety devices to meet required safety integrity levels. • Produce, revise, and release documentation in Team Center. • Conduct self‑quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of deliverables. • Replace obsolete electrical parts while maintaining form, fit, and function of existing machine designs. • Design low‑voltage and automation control panels for SPM. • Conduct concept design of schematic architecture and electrical design calculations. • Produce single‑line drawings, layouts, and Bill of Materials (part and cable lists). • Select electrical components such as sensors, VFDs, PLCs, servo drives, and motors. • Work with PLCs (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and HMI systems.

What You Bring
Candidates must possess strong English communication skills, with French as an advantage, and hold an engineering degree (BE/B.Tech/M.Tech) in electrical, electronics, or related fields. Experience with low‑voltage control panels and machinery upgrades is essential. • Use Microsoft Office tools proficiently. • Utilize electrical CAD tools such as EPLAN and SEE‑Electrical.
