About the Role
The Property Manager (CRE) at Cushman & Wakefield is tasked with overseeing the management of a property or group of properties on behalf of clients, ensuring all obligations outlined in the management agreement are met. The role includes comprehensive lease administration, monitoring of collections and default proceedings, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, codes, regulations, and government directives. The manager provides leadership to property staff, handling hiring and performance management, conducts regular inspections, develops budgets, tracks variances, manages CAM reconciliations, and negotiates vendor contracts in line with company and client requirements. Additional duties involve accurately abstracting leases, maintaining coordination with owners and accounting for contract compliance and reporting, overseeing tenant and building construction projects, facilitating communication between leasing and property management teams, and fostering strong relationships with tenants and internal and external clients. • Manage lease administration and monitor collections, including default proceedings. • Ensure compliance with property management policies, codes, regulations, and governmental directives. • Lead property staff through hiring, performance management, and team development. • Conduct regular property inspections (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) per best practices and client requirements. • Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, track variances, and oversee CAM reconciliations. • Bid, negotiate, and enforce vendor contracts according to company and client standards. • Accurately abstract leases in lease administration software. • Coordinate with owners and accounting to maintain contract compliance and timely reporting. • Oversee tenant and building construction projects to ensure timely, accurate completion. • Facilitate communication between leasing and property management teams during client meetings. • Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, external, and internal clients.

What You Bring
Required competencies include strong communication, problem‑solving, leadership, teamwork, time management, client focus, and financial acumen; a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred, along with at least three years of property management experience and relevant certifications or a real‑estate license. • Demonstrate communication proficiency, problem‑solving, leadership, teamwork, time management, client focus, and financial acumen. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred) and 3+ years of property management experience. • Possess CPM, RPA, or CSM designation (or in process) and a real‑estate license. • Strong knowledge of finance, building operations, and Microsoft Office; ability to analyze, prioritize, delegate, and manage teams and vendors.
