About the Role
The foreman supports all phases of utility construction on diverse telecom projects, ensuring work is performed correctly and efficiently while leading crews and managing daily schedules. Responsibilities include reviewing plans, maintaining safety perimeters, and overseeing documentation and productivity. • Install and repair aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber cable. • Place, relocate, and remove poles, lines, open‑wire, drop and block wire. • Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, and barriers. • Review project plans, specifications, and installation instructions for compliance. • Direct job‑site activities and lead in‑house crews. • Complete required documentation and record crew time. • Communicate with the Area Supervisor or Manager. • Oversee daily schedules, deliveries, and productivity of the aerial crew. • Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and OSHA requirements. • Read and interpret work orders and CTV cable prints.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least three years of telecommunications construction experience, a strong safety mindset, and proven leadership abilities. They should be proficient with bucket trucks, pole climbing up to 35 feet, and operating equipment such as diggers and Derek trucks. Additional certifications such as OSHA 10, CPR, and flagging are required. • 3+ years experience in telecommunications construction, including coax and fiber splicing, directional drilling, aerial and underground work. • Ability to operate bucket trucks, climb poles up to 35 ft, lift up to 70 lb, and operate digger/Derek truck. • Hold OSHA 10, CPR, and flagging certifications. • Strong knowledge of CATV building practices and field equipment. • Available for on‑call work, evenings and weekends as needed. • Thrive in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments and all weather conditions. • Exhibit leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
