About the Role

The Sprinkler Installer Foreman is responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre‑action, deluge, foam suppression systems, fire pumps, and back‑flow devices. The role also oversees execution of the installation project plan, schedules equipment delivery, forecasts installation hours, anticipates challenges, and secures all tools and equipment at the end of each work period. The foreman applies professional judgment, allocates work as a team leader, and promptly escalates any changes, discrepancies, or coordination problems to the construction manager. They regularly resolve issues by researching alternatives, maintain proper documentation, review project drawings for compliance, attend project meetings, and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including working alternative shifts or weekends as needed. • Install, service, and repair wet, dry, pre‑action, deluge, and foam fire suppression systems, fire pumps, and back‑flow devices. • Forecast installation hours, coordinate equipment delivery, and secure tools and equipment daily. • Allocate work, lead the installation team, and escalate issues to the construction manager. • Research and implement alternative solutions to resolve installation challenges. • Maintain accurate documentation for all performed work. • Review project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance. • Attend project meetings and adhere to all safety policies, including flexible shift work. • Perform physical labor such as lifting up to 70 lb and working at heights up to 60 ft. • Read and interpret construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications. • Communicate effectively with customers and team members using tact and diplomacy.
