About the Role

Key responsibilities include ensuring technical accuracy and proper documentation, managing design tasks like conceptual planning, grading, and drainage, conducting ordinance reviews and site visits, and maintaining quality control. The manager will develop project schedules, handle multiple competing deadlines, prepare proposals and change orders, manage invoicing and profitability, and provide client updates while mentoring junior staff and enforcing AutoCAD standards. • Ensure technical accuracy and proper documentation on all design plans and reports. • Lead development of conceptual planning, grading, and drainage designs for civil projects. • Conduct final ordinance reviews, coordinate utility research, and perform construction site visits. • Perform quality control and recommend solutions to project issues. • Create and maintain project schedules and construction timelines. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting competing deadlines. • Prepare proposals, scopes, change orders, and oversee invoicing and profitability. • Provide client updates and manage project‑specific communications. • Mentor junior engineers and train staff on AutoCAD Civil 3D standards. • Enforce company AutoCAD layering and detail standards across all deliverables.

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple civil engineering projects, manage the design team, and drive profitability. The role includes overseeing financial performance, preparing technical proposals and invoices, monitoring budgets, supervising staff, and ensuring project deadlines are met. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineer license, with at least 10 years of civil engineering experience, particularly in land development. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, strong communication, analytical judgment, and knowledge of Pennsylvania land‑use regulations are required, along with expertise in stormwater management, hydraulics, and site design. • Hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineer license. • Bring 10+ years of civil engineering experience, especially in land development. • Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and capable of training others. • Demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and judgment skills. • Knowledge of PA local, county, and state land‑use regulations. • Expertise in stormwater management, hydraulics, grading, and site development design.
