Senior Quantity Surveyor (Roads & Infra)

About the Role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will handle contractual and commercial correspondence, cost reports, variations and claims, and will maintain payment, variation and claims logs. Coordination with clients and the supervision team, support for commercial and contractual issues, guidance of junior QS staff on measurement principles, and review of BOQ recapitulations, financial reports, and pay certificates are also key responsibilities. • Perform standard estimating activities and re‑measure contractor work. • Manage contractual and commercial correspondence, cost reports, variations, and claims. • Maintain payment, variation, and claims logs while coordinating with clients and supervision teams. • Guide quantity surveyors on measurement principles and review BOQ recapitulations. • Review monthly financial reports, interim/final measurements, and pay certificates. • Prepare and review tender documents, variation submissions, change orders, and cost‑planning reports. • Draft and review contractual letters and assist in claim evaluations.

What You Bring

Parsons is seeking an amazingly talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Dubai team. The role involves performing a range of estimating activities and re‑measuring work completed by contractors, either individually or within a team, on assigned projects or programmes. The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field, along with MRICS membership. Candidates must have at least 15 years of prime contract administration experience on major roads and large infrastructure projects, strong communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of CESMM, FIDIC and related standards, proficiency with contract‑administration software, and the ability to perform in a management capacity. Experience working in Dubai, UAE client approvals, and prior consultancy work are preferred.
