Regional Project Control Supervisor - SPS Cost Control

About the Role

The Project Control Supervisor provides supervisory direction and support to the Project Controls organization, ensuring alignment with overall strategy and corporate standards. The role manages an active portfolio of front‑line responsibilities while contributing to the strategic goals of the Project Control Organization. Daily interaction with capital project teams and periodic engagement with executive management builds relationships across the company to achieve results. The supervisor oversees the execution of project controls across the business area, ensuring that cost tracking, work order management, and procedural compliance align with corporate standards. They maintain project management software tools and guide regional specialists, fostering consistent practices and strong partnerships with area managers. Leadership of a dedicated team addresses scope, schedule, and cost challenges while supporting special initiatives. • Track and report project costs to management. • Develop and control work orders within the corporate ERP system. • Evolve business‑area procedures to align with corporate standards. • Maintain and ensure consistency of project management software tools. • Supervise regional project control specialists and align them with organizational strategies. • Build strong relationships with area managers and capital project teams. • Lead a team handling scope, schedule, and cost issues for capital projects. • Manage special project assignments as needed.

What You Bring

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, business management, or a related discipline is required, although six years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree. Candidates must have at least five years of project management or project controls experience, be proficient with Primavera and Microsoft Office, and possess a solid track record in scheduling and reporting. Preferred qualifications include SAP experience, prior supervisory experience, and a PMP certification. • Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, business management, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Possess 5+ years of project management/control experience and proficiency with Primavera and Microsoft Office. • Preferred: SAP experience, prior supervisory experience, and PMP certification.
