About the Role
• Coordinate, execute, and manage site supervision, design review, planning, project monitoring, and testing & commissioning. • Advise the Project Management Team and client on technical matters related to procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment. • Attend factory and site tests required for project completion and asset handover. • Develop engineering scope, schedules, and budgets for project elements and monitor progress. • Identify and document changes in project scope. • Assist in defining procurement scope, schedules, and budgets for project buy‑outs and monitor progress. • Interface with procurement and subcontract personnel to facilitate the bid process. • Coordinate interdisciplinary technical personnel with other Project Engineers. • Assign personnel from technical support groups within the company as needed. • Support the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling technical, fiscal, and administrative functions. • Determine required technical skills and staff hours for successful project delivery. • Ensure client criteria and scope are met across all engineering disciplines. • Expedite distribution of action items following client and project manager meetings. • Prepare technical reports and documentation for client and project management. • Obtain, analyze, and circulate technical and contractual information to project disciplines.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer specializing in Construction Supervision to perform conventional and moderately‑complex engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within the discipline. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution. • Bring at least 7 years of experience in site supervision, design review, planning, project monitoring, and testing & commissioning for large‑scale infrastructure projects. • Have prior construction supervision experience with pumping stations, firefighting systems, chilled water networks, and utilities. • Be fully conversant with Dubai authority requirements (DEWA/DM/Civil Defense) and processes. • Proficient in CAD and other engineering software packages. • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English. • Demonstrate potential to perform in a lead capacity. • Familiarity with industry practices and regulations is preferred.
