About the Role

In this hybrid role based in Taylor, TX, you will lead the Agile journey for a high‑impact development squad while remaining an active contributor to the codebase. You will spend roughly 80% of your time on Scrum facilitation and team coaching, and the remaining time developing robust back‑end solutions using Java and modern frameworks. Key responsibilities include leading all Scrum ceremonies, proactively removing technical and process impediments, partnering with the Product Owner to refine the backlog, and tracking team performance with metrics such as velocity and burndown charts. You will also mentor the team on self‑organization, continuous improvement, and modern Agile/DevOps practices. You will manage all phases of the SDLC, from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance, and implement development frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, or DevOps to meet project timelines and quality standards. Overseeing comprehensive testing strategies—including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing—and streamlining delivery through CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins are also required. As a Java developer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable back‑end services with Java 17/21+ and Spring Boot, lead by example in Test‑Driven Development, conduct code reviews, and ensure a high standard for the Definition of Done.
