About the Role

What You Bring
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler I who can interact with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment, staying flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Senior Scheduling Engineer will provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position, and candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Job postings typically remain open a minimum of five days, with an average duration of 44 days. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. • Minimum four years of construction experience or equivalent training/experience. • Project engineer experience preferred. • Excellent oral and written communication and active listening skills. • Ability to travel as required. • Thorough knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company software. • Knowledge of standard construction practices and project sequencing. • Creative problem‑solving and mature judgment on complex projects. • Strong plan and specification reading, review, and interpretation abilities. • Basic understanding of project management, contracts, and buyout. • Working knowledge of 4D visual planning methodologies. • Strong organization and teamwork skills. • Basic knowledge of cost‑ and resource‑loaded schedules. • Basic knowledge of claims avoidance and resolution techniques. • Ability to work cross‑functionally in a collaborative team environment. • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with initiative for innovative solutions.

Benefits
The base pay range for this role is $102,000 – $137,700, with higher ranges for certain locations, and the position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
