About the Role
The Production Supervisor ensures that company products are produced at the highest quality and the lowest possible cost while meeting performance standards, customer specifications, and delivery requirements in accordance with company policies and procedures. The role involves training new and existing employees on safety, quality, quantity, and productivity standards, supervising work assignments, and enforcing operating procedures, housekeeping, and safety regulations. • Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work while directly supervising systems integration and testing. • Plan production schedules and verify component and sub‑assembly availability. • Coordinate with purchasing to address parts shortages and adjust schedules as needed. • Train new and existing employees on safety, quality, quantity, and productivity standards. • Participate in planning meetings to define space, personnel, and equipment requirements. • Enforce adherence to operating procedures, housekeeping, and safety regulations. • Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives using tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S+, TPM, and standard work. • Evaluate processes and recommend improvements to methods, equipment, utilization, and product quality. • Serve as a technical resource, applying systematic problem‑solving tools (A3, 8D, 5‑Why) to resolve issues. • Complete and maintain required production documentation, including time cards and quality records. • Approve vacation schedules and manage employee performance, rewarding and disciplining as appropriate. • Interpret and write technical documents, reports, and correspondence for customers, vendors, and internal teams. • Perform basic calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, percentages) to support production decisions. • Apply supervisory responsibilities per company policies and applicable laws, including training, work assignment, and conflict resolution.

What You Bring
• Meet education/experience requirements: Bachelor’s degree with 1‑2 years experience, or equivalent combinations of education and up to ten years progressive experience in manufacturing supervision.
