About the Role
Under direct supervision of a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager, a Maintenance Technician B repairs and maintains diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. Duties include work on chassis components, refuse bodies and control systems, hydraulics, electrical, air brakes, engines, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain, and steering. The role also involves basic tire services such as replacement, rotation, and tread checks, supporting drivers on a single fleet of advanced vehicles. • Maintain and repair highly intricate and powerful machinery • Work a regular shift in a stable industry

What You Bring
Technicians must maintain a working knowledge and moderate proficiency in vehicle systems to perform preventive and corrective maintenance both on-site and on the road. Responsibilities cover chassis repair, refuse-body hydraulics and controls, engine work, suspension, drivetrain, steering, heating and air conditioning, as well as line-maintenance welding and fabrication. They safely provide road service, diagnose malfunctions using electronic tools, complete required training, and perform other assigned duties. Candidates should have at least one year of experience diagnosing and repairing gasoline and diesel equipment or be a recent graduate of an accredited automotive program. A basic understanding of work-order labor standards and the ability to inspect major truck systems with limited supervision are required. ASE certifications, a commercial driver’s license, and a valid driver’s license are preferred but not mandatory.
