About the Role
The Apprentice Auxiliary Operator role supports the James A. FitzPatrick Plan and Site, following the apprenticeship curriculum while ensuring safe and organized work environments. • Perform equipment and system tasks for the James A. FitzPatrick Plan under direct supervision. • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of workshops and equipment in work areas. • Complete Apprenticeship Program training according to the Apprentice and Training Standard.

What You Bring
• No restrictions on respiratory equipment use or radiation exposure; pass aptitude test. • High school diploma with proficient English reading, writing, speaking, and math skills. • Demonstrated dexterity for operator trade; acceptance by Apprentice Committee. • Preferred: 1 year technical experience in power production, petrochemical, or industrial processes, or 2 years in non‑generating nuclear facility operations/maintenance. • Preferred: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or related science, or 43 credit hours with ≥75% advanced math, physics, chemistry, or engineering courses.
