About the Role

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Compliance Audit Services, the Manager will oversee auditor training, coordinate and implement audit procedures, and ensure independent and objective environmental, health & safety, and transportation compliance reviews of company operations. Key duties include supervising up to six full‑time audit staff, conducting compliance audits, reviewing internal and external audit reports and corrective actions, providing training and coaching, developing audit schedules, and continuously improving audit tools and resources. • Supervise and mentor a team of up to six full‑time auditors. • Conduct and lead environmental, health & safety, and DOT compliance audits. • Review internal and external audit reports, ensuring corrective actions are documented and closed. • Develop and maintain audit schedules and allocate staff to audit assignments. • Create and improve audit tools, training materials, and standard procedures. • Deliver training sessions and performance evaluations for audit personnel. • Ensure compliance with federal (EPA), state, OSHA, and DOT regulations. • Travel up to 60 % of the time to perform field audits and client engagements. • Apply strong interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with field clients and management.

What You Bring

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Public Health, Engineering, Biology, or a related science, at least seven years of relevant experience, and preferably a Certified Professional Auditor credential. Candidates must have strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least seven years of experience; Certified Professional Auditor preferred.

Salary ranges from $108,600 to $165,485, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
