About the Role
The role involves installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting intrusion alarm systems, access control, CCTV, intercom, PA, fire alarm, and related network infrastructure. Candidates will interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications, produce "As Built" drawings, generate customer reports, and perform system acceptance tests with authorities having jurisdiction. Consulting with clients to assess security needs and participating in an on‑call rotation are also key responsibilities. • Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot intrusion alarm, access control, CCTV, intercom, PA, fire alarm, and network systems • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications; produce “As Built” drawings and reports • Conduct system acceptance tests with authorities having jurisdiction and coordinate with clients • Participate in an on‑call rotation schedule

What You Bring
Applicants must have completed an Electronic Technician program or possess equivalent experience, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a valid driver’s license. Required knowledge includes equipment application, mounting techniques, programming, and testing of security systems, as well as proficiency with Windows operating systems and basic computer networking. Preferred experience covers IT standards, network topology, analog, hybrid, and IP CCTV systems, access control, wireless intrusion, fire alarm systems, and construction industry exposure. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills are essential. • Completed Electronic Technician program or equivalent experience; valid driver’s license required • Working knowledge of equipment application, mounting, programming, and testing of security systems • Preferred experience with IT standards, network topology, analog, hybrid, and IP CCTV, access control, wireless intrusion, and fire alarm systems • Proficiency with Windows operating systems, PC hardware configuration, and computer networking • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service abilities
