About the Role

The Associate Photographer role supports Homes.com and Apartments.com by creating virtual tours, floor‑plans, and marketing photography for residential homes and apartments. Equipped with a Matterport Pro 3 camera, digital camera gear, and an iPad, each photographer is assigned a core territory and scheduled appointments to scan properties and capture high‑quality images. • Capture 3‑D virtual tours and floor‑plans for Homes.com and Apartments.com. • Photograph residential properties for marketing purposes. • Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments. • Conduct commercial real‑estate data collection by navigating one‑mile grids. • Identify and record new inventory and missing listings. • Follow CoStar safety standards for vehicle and equipment use. • Represent CoStar professionally and attend sales/research conference calls.

What You Bring

The position requires up to eight hours of driving, standing, and walking each day, with the ability to lift equipment up to five pounds and perform repetitive hand‑arm movements. Photographers must be able to work outdoors in all seasons, including rotating weekend schedules. Candidates need at least two years of professional photography experience or a recent photography degree, strong time‑management and detail‑orientation, and the ability to accurately capture and enter data. Excellent oral and written communication, proficiency with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications, and a quick grasp of commercial real‑estate terminology, mapping, and GIS concepts are also required, along with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management. • Minimum 2 years of professional photography experience or relevant degree. • Strong time‑management, attention to detail, and data‑entry accuracy. • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills. • Proficient with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications. • Quick learner of commercial real‑estate, mapping, and GIS concepts. • Independent work style in a fast‑paced environment; field experience preferred. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
