About the Role

A Driver‑CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and providing prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services to customers. The driver must ensure the vehicle complies with the company’s safety standards, adhere to all state and federal regulations, and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. The role includes performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, operating manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste, and following route sheets to service each customer efficiently. Drivers interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers, identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers, monitor waste for compliance, clean accidental spills, and maintain vehicle cleanliness. They also complete required productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports while meeting productivity standards and following all safety policies, including participation in the ReSOP program. • Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Safely operate a collection truck on assigned routes, lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor waste for compliance. • Clean accidental waste spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness, including packer blade. • Complete route productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports (VCRs) and other required documentation. • Meet productivity standards and adhere to all safety policies, including participation in the ReSOP program.

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications include a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement. Candidates should demonstrate strong customer service, time‑management, and follow‑through abilities, and consistently adhere to company policies and safety standards. • Possess a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement.
