About the Role
The role offers the chance to provide expert advice on the Planning and Environment Act 1987 and Victoria Planning Provisions, support environmental and impact assessments for large‑scale infrastructure, liaise with clients and government, develop new project opportunities and proposals, mentor junior staff, collaborate across disciplines and stay informed on policy changes and industry best practices. • Provide expert advice on the Planning and Environment Act 1987 and Victoria Planning Provisions, including planning assessments, permit applications and due diligence. • Support delivery of environmental assessments (EES/EPBC), impact assessments and technical reporting for large‑scale infrastructure projects. • Liaise with clients, government authorities and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. • Contribute to identifying new project opportunities and develop/maintain strong client relationships. • Support development of proposals and bid submissions. • Mentor and guide junior team members, building capability and confidence within the team. • Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions on high‑profile projects. • Stay informed on policy changes and industry best practices.

What You Bring
Tertiary qualifications in urban/town planning or a related discipline are required, together with demonstrated experience obtaining or administering planning approvals in Victoria. Strong knowledge of the Victorian Planning and Environment Act 1987, planning schemes and development assessment processes is essential, as is the ability to build trusted relationships, influence key clients and manage multiple projects and deadlines. • Hold tertiary qualifications in urban/town planning or a related discipline. • Demonstrated experience obtaining or administering planning approvals within Victoria. • Strong knowledge of the Victorian Planning and Environment Act 1987, planning schemes and development assessment processes. • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence key clients through strategic environmental and sustainability advice on major infrastructure projects. • Experience delivering high‑value infrastructure projects across environment and planning sectors. • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
